Wildlife

There are definitely these animals to look for; we’ve seen them. Seals, otters, eagles, highland coos, octopus (no, really) pine martins, divers, puffins, porpoises dolphins and whales for a start. It’s just a case of where and when.

A very well equipped and comfortable property in a great location for walks and exploration of wonderful beaches and countryside .

Walks

From a gentle stroll to the pub (5 mins there, 15 back) to some serious hill walking, Wester Ross has it all. We include simple directions to a historic and very poignant B25 crash site and a local stunning beach that hardly anyone uses. Get those limbs working eh? (But do as I say, not as I do)

A fabulous property in a beautiful location with all the comforts of home. Well situated for touring the area. We made day trips to Skye and Applecross and enjoyed the amenities in Badachro, Gairloch and Strath.

Trips and Tours

We are so very lucky here. We have several excellent tour guides in the area, from coasteering and sup lessons, through guided kayaking tours and a chance to board an authentic creel (lobster pot) boat with an even more authentic skipper, a glass bottomed boat trip and high powered trips out into the Minch to see puffins, minke whales, dolphins and more. And yes, we’ve been, and although nothing is guaranteed, we’re confident you’ll spot something incredible.

We provide real local knowledge on where to go and what to see, and there are lots of good maps and guides here to help you plan your days.
