Fabulous house and location, was great to sit outside on the veranda admiring the views at the end of the day.

We love to cook, so the kitchen is packed with everything you need to make your own meals, including a dishwasher to take care of the cleanup. We have a bean to cup coffee machine so make sure bring your favourite beans!

A lovely well appointed house in a peaceful location. Having the three double bedrooms with en suite bathrooms was a luxury.
Master Bedroom
This room, at the rear of the house on the ground floor, has French doors opening onto a verandah, a simply lovely king size oak sleigh bed with Hypnos mattress (2023) and luxury Egyptian cotton linens. Tell us if you need a hypo allergenic set up rather than the duck and down as standard. No problem ;-)

It’s upside down to make the very most of the views, and we seem spend most of our time here looking out.
Bedroom 2
This is at the front of the house, downstairs but is still extremely quiet. It has little curiosities from our life afloat for those with a nautical disposition!

The house is very spacious and warm with underfloor heating downstairs and a cracking log burner upstairs. Kitchen is well provided for with every conceivable extra/gadget which we put to good use. Beds comfy and good quality linen/towels provided. Can't fault it.
Bedroom 3
A really peaceful and calming room with a deliberately subdued colour-scheme to help sleep in mid summer when it stays light and bright outside until late.

If you really, really have to work, we have a space for you away from the TV and kids. The wi-fi is very good, and we leave an iMac 27 unlocked as a guest account.
The house
It’s a ‘smart’ home with automated heating controls, very strong fibre broadband and sat TV (Freesat) digital channels including Amazon Prime and Netflix and a couple of Alexa’s to help you time the roast! There’s a PS3 and a few games if you are bringing the kids.
Outside there is ample parking to the front and rear, including boats and trailers if you are bringing them along (recommended) and its gated if you prefer to use them.
It’s a no smoking house of course, and we welcome well behaved pets.
